Terms
Pricing is based on submission of camera-ready artwork or supplied electronic files. Additional production charges may apply for layout. For established accounts, billing will occur at close date of each issue. All new insertion orders require prepayment.
Delivery is guaranteed. Cancellations and revisions of insertion orders will not be accepted after the issue’s closing date.
General Conditions
All advertising in The Journal of Pediatric Dental Care magazine is subject to publisher’s approval and only final publication will constitute such acceptance.
The advertiser is completely responsible for the content and reproduction quality of the material submitted. Owners and advertising agencies represent that the advertising being submitted for publication contains no illustrations or text that can result in any claim against the publisher and agree to indemnify The Journal magazine against any damages and related expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of such publication. The publisher’s liability is limited only to the direct cost of the advertisement. Publisher shall have no liability for failure to execute accepted advertising orders because of governmental restrictions, acts of God, accidents, fires or any other cause beyond the pubisher's control affecting the production or distribution.
Printing Requirements
The Journal of Pediatric Dental Care magazine is printed on web offset magazine presses. Bleeds must extend 1/8” past the actual page dimensions.
(Example: A magazine with an 8 3/8” x 10 7/8” trim size uses 8 5/8” x 11 1/8” film for a full-page bleed.)
Advertisements
Submit all ads as High-Resolution PDF files. Please make sure 4 color process ads are saved as CMYK. Color ads require a color proof to ensure correct color of advertisement. If black and white, use grayscale. We will also accept files created in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop on the Macintosh platform.
We do not support other layout or word processing programs. Include all graphics. Photos and other graphics should be TIFF or EPS files. Photos should be minimum 274 dpi at the finished size. Line work should be at least 1000 dpi. Include all fonts (Screen and Printer) that were used to create the document. Avoid TrueType fonts. Use PostScript fonts if possible. All artwork should be provided on CDs or Zip disks with laser prints attached. Collecting files using a preflight program is HIGHLY recommended.
Program files that need additional work may incur extra fees. E-mailed PDF files are acceptable. Large files may be up-loaded to our FTP site upon request. If sending an Illustrator EPS file, ALL TEXT MUST BE converted to outlines.
